The Low Level Peracetic Acid Test strip is used for testing residual levels of peracetic acid. Peracetic acid is another sanitizing agent, especially used in some segments of the food industry, such as organic produce and poultry. The Low Level Peracetic Acid test strip is calibrated at 0, 5, 10, 20, 30, and 50ppm, and gives results in just seconds.

Low Level Peracetic Acid Test Strip, 50ppm
- Remove one test strip from the vial, being careful not to touch the test pad with your fingers.
- Gently swirl test strip in small sample of solution being tested for 2 seconds.
- Remove strip with pad face up. Do not shake off excess sample.
- Compare the test pad to the color chart after 10 seconds.

Does the presence of hydrogen peroxide in solution impair the performance of Peracetic Acid test strips?
Peracetic acid formulations usually contain acetic acid and hydrogen peroxide to stabilize the peracetic acid. The Precision Laboratories PAA test strips have been developed to determine the peracetic acid level in the presence of acetic acid and hydrogen peroxide.
The standards we use to evaluate the strip performance are prepared from an commercially available concentrates that is about 15-18% peracetic acid. The actual peracetic acid content of the standards is verified using a drop count test kit.
